Today, we learnt about CSS style sheet and how to incorporate the coding into the HTML codes to change the background, the font and many other aspects.
I never learnt CSS before this. So, whenever I use HTML to create a webpage, I do it the "primitive" way, which is to add some more codes into the HTML code to change everything. So when the teacher taught us a brand new way to change the appearance of the webpage, I was very glad. The old way is not good as it will cramp up the codes and when I need to do debugging, I have to find the wrong codes in a sea of codes. It is equivalent to finding a needle in a haystack, especially when the wrong code is just a minor one, like (img src=...) and (img scr=...). So now, when there is something wrong with the background, all I need to do is to refer to the CSS style sheet. When there is something wrong with the text, I just need to look at the HTML code! How simple and what a breeze !
I think that CSS is a better way to change the appearance of the webpage. What about you?
