Hi all! Today, I will pen down my reflections and learning points for lesson 1.
In lesson 1, we learnt about web 2.0 and what edge it has over web 1.0. Basically, in web 1.o, the owner of the website has to update the website himself to attract web surfers. But the world wide web has evolved with time. In web 2.0, internet surfers and the webpage owner can both update the website at the same time.
Also, the web has become an integral part of life. I am sure all of you have heard of email, blogs, youtube, twitter and facebook. I dare say not many will choose snail mail to stay in touch with our friends nowadays. We use MSN, facebook instead, it is fast and easily accessible.
But people can also use the Internet for illegal acts. Internet is so advanced now and if this new technology falls into the wrong hands, it can create a total mess. BEWARE !
